Find out if YOU have a leak

If you have a meter:

Turn off all taps and appliances.

Take a meter reading from the dials

Re-read the meter a few minutes later.

If the readings are different,
YOU HAVE A LEAK.

If you DO NOT have a meter:

Turn off all taps and appliances.

Wait a few minutes.

If the cold water tank is filling, even slowly,
YOU MAY HAVE A LEAK.*

*You could still have a leak between the kitchen cold tap and the outside stop-cock.
